Leaves for filatoon

I am looking for an actual leaf model I can use with filatoon. The leaves I have mostly don't work since they are on clear panes and it just doesn't work for filatoon since I can't toon them out in the same style- If there are suggestions, I'd appreciate hearing them.

Do you mean individual leaves, or trees / plants with modeled leaves?

Have you looked at https://www.daz3d.com/blowing-in-the-wind--petals-and-leaves? There are single leaves and petals in the pack with scatters also. And today it is $2.40 as it is DAZ+.

I think those are just transmapped planes, in which case it won't work with the Filatoon outline.

There are some fully-modelled plants around, but not off the top of my head, sorry.

many of  the older 3Delight sets have modelled leaves as that render engine crawls with opacity maps

Attached is a modelled leaf obj file that may be useful. 12 Facets, 26 vertices. Left & right sides separate so DS doesn't smooth between them.

Is planar tex mapped from above before the 2 sides were angled at 5 degrees to horizontal.

Use freely, don't sell (not that it's good enough to) Needs a tex map. The leaf is 5cm wide, 8cm long

    Regards,

    Richard

Oh thanks! thats very nice of you.

Yeah all the ones I've found are transmapped and when I render them they have squares around them.

I wish I could be more specific but I have far too much content for that, over 300 pages

I did try looking but everything I loaded was transmapped cheeky

but when I use stuff willy nilly I have found so many modelled leaf sets

I just checked them and they are indeed transmapped.

If leaf models actually work, suggest a number of shapes and I'll try knocking them up with a very few facets. I'll try to keep under 20 facets. Initial thoughts: Lime/Linden, Maple, Silver Birch, Sweet Chestnut, Cherry, Apple, Pear, Plum, Hawthorn, Hazel, Oak (hard to keep under 20 facets) and maybe Rowan. Need to collect reference originals today because we're in the middle of leaf fall here. Lime is absent locally, will use photographs instead. Regards, Richard.
