Improved Navigation During Set Construction

Sometimes I find myself at a lengthy distance from a set, and cannot easily get back to a set location I wish to make changes to.

 Is there a plug-in (or product) that improves movement within a set/scene, so one doesn't have to scroll drag over long distances, to reach areas of a...large set, for example?
