Diffeomorphic export HD with Meipe geografts issues
I'm having issues when using Diffeomorphic to export HD characters using any of Meipe's geograft assests: Golden Palace, Dicktator etc. The shell data does not transfer successfully to Blender. I believe this is because of the UVs (see screenshot) as all the image textures, maps etc are present but are not on the HD figure (with Multires). The imported Base figure (with subdivisions) works perfectly. I am unable to find a work around or resolve it myself.
NB. Other geografts work fine (eg. Daz's Anatomical Elements)
To keep it very simple I am only using Victoria 9 HD and Golden Palace for G9 in this example. I'm using DS 4.23, Daz Importer 4.2.1, and Blender 4.2.3 LTS. My operating system is Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1
The new HD convention had been working perfectly with these geografts and then suddenly stopped. I don't know if it was the DS upgrade that broke it but I updated my OS, Daz Importer, and Blender to see if that fixed it but it didn't. Screenshots of the shader editor window in Blender and the HD conventions used are attached. I can provide the duf. to the devs if required but don't want to attach the file here because of the adult nature.

Works fine here.
You don't need the HD uvs with multires, try exporting without the HD uvs. Also you have to enter the geometry editor in daz studio before exporting a HD figure with geografts, to decouple the geograft from the figure. Otherwise the importer can't get the geograft may be this is what you miss.
steps:
Thank you, this has worked.
I am confused because when the add on version of Diffeomorphic was first released I didn't need either of the steps above. I could just export as base without going to geometry editor. I also don't understand why these steps are not necessary for Daz anatomical elements. Is it because they are already HD and Meipe's are not? Reading the documentation I thought that the add on version and the HD convention now meant that entering geometry editor was now unecessary.
That's for non-HD figures, or HD without geografts, in those cases you don't need the geometry editor. For HD with geografts you need the geometry editor. About the blog yes I agree Thomas made some confusion at least in my opinion, I discussed this but he didn't seem interested to correct the blog. The wiki correctly reports that you have to enter the geometry editor.

Thank you so much. The link to the wiki is helpful. It can be very difficult with updates to understand how my workflow needs to change and I usually try to use the information on the blog but this can result in hours of me going backwards and forwards between Daz and Blender changing parameters and testing to see how to get the results. I know nothing about coding so I appreciate the work you guys do, and I am very thankful for diffeomorphic, but it can be very difficult when I don't understand why things that used to work suddenly don't work anymore, and what settings and steps need to change.
