How do I keep my dots from going away

I have some cartoon characters with dots for shaders. see attached image. When using the new toon render, those dots disappear. see attached image. Is there a way to use the new toon render but still keep my dots?

Dotify is an iray shader combined with iray decals, so it has to be rendered using the Iray engine, whereas the new toon shader system is a Filament shader (with a geoshell ad-on for the toon outline) and is run in the completely different Filament rendering system. So, in-render, they're completely incompatible. That said, you could try rendering the characters twice, once in Iray with Dotify, and once in FIlament using FIllatoon, and then try combining them in post with Photoshop.
Thank you for your reply. I tried doing what you said. I'm not sure if it is an improvement or not
I thought this was another thread asking about the plague... but I admit I was curious why one would want the pustules to stay... to each their own I guess... but I'm also glad nobody here has the black plague... or any of the other plague... though Monkey Pox sounded cute... it's not, but I just pictured it turning people into adorable cartoon monkeys... it doesn't. Plagues just aren't fun anymore.
Yeah, that's probably why that "Rainforest Cafe" type theme restaurant I invested in, the one based on the 10 Biblical Plagues of Egypt, failed to become the next big thing. I mean, the kids DID like the frogs, and there were some people who went specifically to take advantage of the "leave your first born to pay the bill" policy, but do you know how hard it is to get a locust leg unstuck from between your teeth?
Yes.
I asked Mada if it would be possible to add hatching and/or halftone to the FilaToon shader. And I'm guessing she just didn't see it because she hasn't answered. In any event, Silas could look at either adapting or remaking Dotify for Filatoon.
