Gen 8 updater will not install

I have been trying to install the Genesis 8 update. It gets to 72% complete then fails. I have included the log file. Can someone explain to me what's the problem? Thank you.

    It seems a syntax issue + uncompress issue with package ZIP file.

    You can stop installation, totally delete G8 Starter Essentials packages in DIM > Ready to Install tab, then redownload them. Then retry.

    Thanks for the input. I did as you suggested, several times and I'm still getting the same problem. surprise

    Same error there... nothing changed. You can try another way: manually extract the content folders from IM package (under Content folder !) files to your Daz Library root directory. Then re-import metadata to cms database.

    If there's an uncompressing error or sth., it means your IM packages are really corrupt ~~
