DS 4.23+ Question

I see an update in my DIM to update DS to 4.23+. I I am definitely not planning to stay with DAZ+ or go with Premier should I avoid downloading that update? I don't to mess up what I've got now.

all those mileage may vary, but I was very hesitant but went ahead and did it. So far all OK. We shall hope for the best with everything. It takes time, of course, to check out stuff.

Thanks Daveso. Did you do the G9 Starter Essentials and Essentials Expansion as well? The whole 9 yards?

yes, I did them this afternoon. All is at least still in the smart content listings. There were posts about missing stuff. I did not have that problem.

I dowloaded 4.23 yesterday and all the new G9 stuff today, even though I don't use G9 characters. So far all of my WIP scenes from previous the version do load fine in  4.23 and the other packages have not caused problems. I'm interested in the new toon shader so I downloaded everything but I will not subsrcribe to either of the monthly plans.

I'm just worried something is going to get installed that will screw up my present install of DS if I do not do the new DAZ+ supscription or Premier.

Apart from enabling the framework used DS 4.23.0.1 has nothing to do with Premier - it is a bug fix and feature update, like any other.
