I changed my login info and DIM doesn't see it

I have been hit by spammers, and am changing my login / password for as many sites as I can as fast as I can.
I changed my email address and password for DAZ, and that seems to be working properly in the store, but DIM doesn't see the change.  I can't log in with the dropdown with my old email address (as expected),
There isn't a way to replace my old email address with the new one in the drop down.
I added the new email address under Add Account because that was the only option available, but that sets me up as a new account with 0 installed items (instead of almost 10K)
So, how do I get DIM to see my new email address and log in again?

Also, before I changed my email / password, I had DIM install everything I had purchased over the last few days.  One of the items available was DAZ 4.23.  Do I have to now pay for Premier to use that?  Can I go back to the previous free version of DAZ?
Thanks in advance!

Each time you create an Account in DIM, DIM just creates it without knowing it's an updated email address to your existing Daz Account, and the address is encryted so you're not able to directly modify it in DIM's account INI file. But you shouldn't lose the "Installed Items" even if you log in with the way of Add Account... unless you ever changed the default location of Manifest Archive (default : C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\ManifestFiles). So, I guess you probably did it before..

Anyway, you may follow the steps I show below to check and fix it:

    0) Fully close DIM.

    1) in File Browser, paste %APPDATA%\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts to the address field. Then you should find at least two INI files, one is your old Account, another is the newly-created Account (screenshot 1). Back them up to another folder, just in case...

    2) Open both of the INI files with Notepad++ (or dbl-click to open them...). In newly-created INI file, copy the first three lines (screenshot 2), go to the old INI file, paste to replace first three lines (screenshot 3). Save the old INI file.

    3) Delete the newly-created INI file in %APPDATA%\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts. Then launch DIM to log in and check.

If you make a new account, with real details or not, and set it to be the active account (choose  Work Offline if it is fake) then you should be able to sdelect and edit the original account to use your new email, no need to hack files.

I tried... but found no way to update existing Account with new e-mail address so that the Settings can be kept intact.

Pls let us know how to do that. I probably will update my account as well. Thanks !

    1. Start DIM and seelct Work Offline
    2. Go to Advanced Settings
    3. In the first tab, Accounts, right-click>Add Account and enter dummy info
    4. Click Accept
    5. Click the main Account name at top-right to get a list of accounts (hmm, could have added a new account here too, I had forgotten) and select the dummy account
    6. choose Work Offline
    7. Go to Advanced Settings
    8. Right-click on your real account and choose Edit "Name" Account
    9. Change the email and hit Accept, then hit Accept in the main Settings dialogue
    10. In the main DIM window click the name of the Dummy account at top-right and select the real one instead
    11. Log in.

It's a lot of steps written out, but (depending on how long it takes to generate the list of downloaded/installed files for the real account) it is pretty quick to do.
