It's winter in Minnesota of course.  As I go about, I'm noticing so many absolutely fabulous styles now of FLAT heeled Leather Knee boots.  Semi equestrian styles, Cavalry knee styles, interesting vamps and strap arrangements, etc etc?

Could some of you look at the marvelous variety of fashionable FLAT heeled high boots today?

Thank you :)

Ugh, I meant this in Product Suggestions.  I'm sorry :(

  • Yes please!  That would help with creating female warriors or hunters too.  It's just so hard to kick butt in 4 inch heels.  LOL

YES! This. My ladies need to be able to walk on soft surfaces!

You may want to submit feedback through the ticket system or contact PAs through PM as the ones making the boots may never visit the forums or see this thread.  Unless you're just making a general request to any PA who may be reading.

BadKitteh has a nice pair over at Rendo for G3M (don't let the name of them fool you). https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/hipster-boots-g3m/112833/

Like you, I always look for flat heels, and I found some good ones for G3F. 'TOA Ryder' has nice flat boots; 'Artemis Moon' too. DM has those lovely 'Elatha' sandals, and the 'Egypt' sandals by Fisty and Darc are also very nice. Not to forget the excellent 'Hellenic' sandals! 'Vagabond' has flat heeled short boots; 'Milonga Shoes' and the 'Victoria Iven' boots are not too high heeled. At Rendo, Karth offers two lovely shoes/sandals: 'Walk in Flats' I and II.

My opinion. I really don`t like it that nearly every boots have high heels especially if comes to historical or fantasy fashion inspired by medieval times. I think back in medieval times the haven`t got high heels

Which medieval heroine stumbles through the woods in high heels????? Never seen such a heroine, also not in worst movies smiley

  • Except the horror movies where that air-headed woman in high heels trips, falls on her face and gets eaten by zombies or werewolves or vampires....wink

It's all fantasy.  There's mages, elves, orcs, goblins, dragons, etc.  At that point high heels aren't such a stretch.  wink

Flat shoes just look so meh.  Besides, not a single one of my virtual ladies complained about having to wear heels all day.

It's worth noting that flat heeled shoes and boots transfer fairly easy between characters. There's a dearth of flats in general, but if you go back through all the V$ and genesis products, there's a bit more to choose from.

I heartily agree with the flat heels. I have chosen not to buy many ensembles in the past because of the ridiculous heels. Seriously, it is hard to take many of these outfits seriously with the high heels.

    My 2 cents.

High heels did exist in late medieval times and the renaissance. They were worn by men. To be specific, noblemen at court, trying to look taller and more impressive. (Probably not a coincidence that this was the same period that large codpieces were in style.)

They did have shoes with heels, but not stiletto heels AFAIK.
