    I have a little java program that folds 3D paper into 3D objects but honestly it's been so long I don't even recall how to fold a ship, crane or anything

    you need Java installed

    oh and you need a program that imports Open CTM to export an obj

    When my son was younger we bought him a book called Origami Yoda,  We ended up making all sorts of crease characters like Vader, Yoda, wookie, and x-wing fighters. I wondering now if the software mentioned by Wendy helped them develop the paper layouts.
