DForce messing up on some wear items

I am trying to set dforce on  as it splays out in the natural position which looks unrealistic but every time I set dforce this happens, it happened with one other in the past but with this it is newer and there is no way around getting this to work because of it splaying out so far and it happens every single time.

How do I get it to not do this?

Edit: "Some content is not available because of your browser's security settings" message when posting and a section of text has gone missing, I can't mention product names?

Your picture is showing an "explossion".

That can happen if the mesh is too dense (are there coming warnings of spring voliation before the actual simulation starts), are building up more energy that it can distribute or if there is intersecting, e.g. an arm goign through the body and trapping the clothing.

How are you simulating, current frame or timeline? What does your pose look like?

The pose is nearly default but with a more natural stand, it is not animated so I am only rendering stills, I didn't get any error messages when I started DForce

    So only a suttle pose.

    Which clothing item is it?

Does the character have hair, or other objects that couls interfere with the simulation?

Are you using the Genesis 8 version of the outfit - it has support for 8 and 9? Is the hair intersecting with the outfit in the starting pose (the memorised pose or the first pose on the Timeline, depending on settings)?

The version used was the Gen 8 version and I got no incompatability message. I don't know if there is intersecting hair as it flares off, is there a way to set it to ignore material channels?

Just hide the hair during simulation.

I have had to try and do reinstallations on software packages to make other packages stop crashing when rendering but now several wardrobe items no longer show up that are G8 compatible when a G8 is selected, it was just a few before but now the ones mentioned above no longer compatible with G8. They appear in the menu without any selected but if G8 character is selected they just disappear so I cannot have them relevence the group together.

With G8 selected in Scne tab, click the burgermenu (3 bars in the corner) and Edit > Scene Identification.

    What comptability does it list?

  • VolvoB10MVolvoB10M Posts: 135

It shows "Genesis8Female" under node name

It is Comptability Base there is relevant for matching clothes etc.

    What does that say?

Check what's shown in the list of Compatibilities ?

And, with Edit Metadata with the product, in Content DB Editor, can you see the data of Compatibilities under the user-facing file(s) ?

When I have a G8F character selected, that box just shows "Female". I can't select the missing wardrobe items to see what they are under G8F.
