Ratio Square/Frame in Viewport

These questions might have been asked. I searched the forums using the search function but nada.

Can the Render Frame (white) be set to fully take up the entire viewport?  I've set it to 1:1, Is that the limit?  I've forgotten, How too toggle Off/On the Render Frame (white)?

Select Active Viewport as the Dimension Preset, but remember that changing the size of the Viewport will then chnage the size of the render. You can toggle the Aspect Frame on/off in the Viewport option menu - the lined/hamburger button in the top-right corner, or rigth-click the tab.
