Budget Upgrades...

Heyas gang,

I currently have a Ryzen 7 CPU and a Radeon AMD GPU and AMD doesn not use iRay hence why some of my stuff is crashing.  I want to go with Nvidia for the Iray and thanks to AMD and Nvidia components now being able to work together.  I'm thinking of a GTX 3000 series card to replace my AMD GPU.  I definitely want the 12 GB on the GPU and I have 64 GB on my motherboard.  I'm tight on cash obviously (who isn't?) and wanted some input on the 3000 series of GTX cards.  Thanks and happy rendering!

RTX 3060 12 Gb is generally considered good value for budget conscious buyer. Be sure to get the 12 Gb version, because there is a lower version of the 3060. You want 12 Gb for Iray rendering and to go with your 64 Gb system RAM.

thanks barbutt, that helps me a lot in making the right choice.  Hoping to be able to do it sooner rather than later, I hate not being able to use a lot of the lighting and sets I've bought because of an AMD gfx card, lol.

and I hear ya on the 12gb, definitely a must.  Thanks again.
