Issues with Expressions

Hello. This might have been answered but I can't find it while using the search bar.

I'm having issues with a couple of expresson packs I installed. They are V 100 Expressions The Gold Collection 2 for Genesis 8.1 Female by Valery3D (latter) and 100 Must Have Expressions for Genesis 8 Female(s) by Valery3D i3D_Lotus (former).

I manually install by using 7zip and path: C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library.

I installed the former pack first. When i clicked on an expression, it did nothing to the face. So I installed the latter pack and while it does change the face, it does NOT correspond to the expression chosen. See attachment.

Would uninstalling the packs and just the pack that sort of works, work? Or it's something else? 

How do you install specific packs?

How do I check the character genesis model as I'm not sure if I have 8 or 8.1? Would that even matter?

One of the big changes between G8 and G8.1 is that the facial rigging was updated in G8.1 to conform to the FACS standard. By default, G8 expressions don't work on G8.1, though I'm sure someone will come along and tell you how to fix that.

Making the G8 base expressions (and any expressions that are using them) work on G8.1 requires removing dummy/placeholder expressions that are installed to G8.1 morph folders - These dummy/placeholder expression files have no other function than to prevent the base G8 expressions from loading. 

The dummy/placeholder files are located in;

...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Base Pose Head\ (255 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)
...\Data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Male 8_1\Morphs\Daz 3D\Expressions\ (24 files, can be more if you have additional DAZ expression packs)

Please make sure you are removing the files from G8.1 morph folders and not G8 morph folders.

Note 1; If you are logging in to DS and letting DAZ Connect (within DS) to install/update your content, you may have these also in an other location that has "\Data\Cloud\" in it's path
Note 2; Do not remove any files from "FACS" or "FACSExpressions" folders

I know what version Jill is now. GF 8.1

How do you uninstall specific facial expressions packs that were manually installed using 7zip? 

Is some other expression,  maybe from a full body morph, overriding the facial from being visible?
