    You can hide the unwanted sections using the buttons in the Parameters pane, if copying materials doesn't work or isn't what is needed.

    actually that process is pretty standard. I used to save seperate presets, but DAZ suggested I change to full HMATS for applying the gen textures.

    As for shells...you will have to select the shell in the scene and then in the parameters tab turn off the visibility on the extra graft parts
