IK Chain and Pupeteer at the same time?

This program is going to drive me crazy...

So when I create an IK-chain, activate the pin translation stuff, and move another character, the IK-chain works properly and the second character will follow the movement.

Is it possible to make this work during pupeteer as well? Because when I interpolate poses using the pupeteer, the program ignores the IK-chains.

EDIT: Immediately after creating this topic, I came up with an improvised way of making it work. Instead of using the IK Chain properly, I made the second character's hand "point at" the "null" where the IK CHain originally was, and it "worked", even though it clearly wasn't the right solution.
