Buon modello.
Applica texture.
Ciao
Nicely done sircamillo, looking forward to see what you do with it next :)
I found a new way of creating round leg shapes in just a couple of minutes.
Step 1. create a cylinder with an appropriate round smoothness. leave the number of sections at default.
Step 2: select all of the horizontal section lines except the lines on both ends (preferably with the loop command) and then go to edge tools and extract along or around the lines, creating a kind of ribbed pattern of lines.
Step 3. select all the new sections (again, preferably with loop command) by their faces. you basically want every other section selected.
Step 4. do a radial extrude/sweep on those faces so that they are recessed a little compared to the rest of the object.
Step 5. use the twister deformer to twist it around a couple of times along the default axis
Step 6. Set a smoothing level of 1 or 2.
that's basically the gist of it. you can create more variety by twisting more or less, or changing the spacing of the sections early on, or by making some of the sections bigger than the others, or adding more sections, or all of the above.
:-)
Bye bye
Oh, that is very nice M_M, I really like the texture you've given the glass - great piece of modeling :)
Grazie "WDJ".
Ciao.
:-)
Took my daughter to see "Frozen" yesterday, decided to recreate one of the characters.
Not bad for a tart, but it still needs more work before it's perfect. The mouth, in particular, is off. It should be pulled forward more, as seen in the pictures on this page.
created in hexagon
Is that a urinal for both sexes ~ portable for the use of ?
Or, just a thinnnnnnnnnnnng ?
Happy New Year. :-P
I'd like to know what it is.
Nice turn table effect :)
It's a marijuana/crack pipe.
Oh ! right, just shows what an innocent I am; must be me age. :cheese:

Hi everyone, my name is Jodie and I'm new in this forum but I would like to share my 3D model made with my Hexagon. Before I knew Hexagon in 2012, I have been using Maya since 2002. And now I prefer Hexagon much better than Maya for modelling. Seriously! The project was meant to be 3D printed and it worked. I didn't put any texture nor color for it. I just exported the files into STL and OBJ formats and then printed using Up 3D printer. All the part were carefully sculpted to make sure the articulation works well. So here are the pictures, I hope you like it. Cheers!
Sweet work there. You should rig it in DAz Studio and use it in renders and animations too.
I agree .
I agree .
Thanks, guys. Yes, maybe I should render it on Carrara or Daz, but because my passion is to create a toy product at this moment so I'm a bit distracted by the temptation of 3D printing. This is another mecha project which hopefully follows the first project, wish me luck on the 3D printing process, because it's quite costly.
That's a frickin cool robot. Really nice work. :)
That is seriously good work there - congratulations !
Great to see the positive comments about Hex:)
Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it. :)
boredum. I was going for a futuristic pillar look, could use some paneling....and a scene to build around it.
Interesting shape. What did you render this in, I like the metal shader - nice :)
so I finally figured out how to wrap objects around a shape.
and I came up with a new clock type.
Fenicotter lavabo.....
:-)
Ciao
Nice one M_M. I like your renders to :)
here's a dump of some stuff.
Very nice UserOperator, I really like the bowl and fish, very imaginative.
Thank you very much.
Always very kind.
Bye bye.
