Smooth .obj's polygons exported from Blender to Daz Studio

Hi, I'm trying to export a .obj from blender to Daz Studio. The result in DS is not very smooth and has weird textures distorsions, I've seen somebody export from Blender to Daz the exact same model, with very smooth polygons no distorsions and same polycount. Can anybody explain how to do it to a Blender noob like me?

export at base resolution with no normals
Uh... It's even worse...
You'd then apply smoothing to that clean base mesh in Blender.
It still worse than before... As Id said I am a noob and there surely are things that I don't understand. Can someone explain to me step by step?
If the model is a scene or a prop there may be n-gons, that is, faces with more than four edges. In this case you better triangulate before export, as daz studio is not good with n-gons.
edit mode: face > triangulate faces
Daz studio sucks at rendering geometry compared to blender to be honest. My import process is:
1)Import geometry
2)Add uber shader
3)scroll down to where the smooth switch is and try 64 and 32 in in the "angle" value right under it.
If neither of those look good, I go back into blender to modify it.
For hard surface modelling, it seems the best process is to keep smooth shading off in blender while building. If I need something to look smooth, than I give it the polygons to look smooth without smoothing on. Then I can just turn off smoothing in the uber shader altogether, as it messes up flat surfaces more often than not.
