Sci-Fi Med Bed, please don't tap the glass [Commercial]

Hey Sci-Fi fans I had to break down and make me one of these. Inspired by those Sic-Fi classic scenes when even though the ship has a doctor on board, he just pushes a button and the machines do all the work. You have to love future tech.

This has gone straight to the top of this week's shopping list.  It will work well with the recently released corridor set, which I think is used in some of the promos.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

I was on the fence, but I haven't gotten Ant stuff in a while, and scifi 'stuff' works well for my webcomic.

I hope everyone is enjoying the new med equipment. It's so great to be able to create things like this for the community, can't wait to see what you all do with it.

LOL, I see this and know that the occupant is overdressed for the concept. :)

  • Looks awesome. I picked it up immediately. I have plans for it.

Would this be a more appropriate dress code?

    Works for me! wink

Nicely done. I grabbed it the moment I saw it, but haven't had the time to actually use it. Great jog, AntMan!

  • I'm guessing this was heavily based on/inspired by the pod from 'Prometheus'? Couldn't help noticing the similarities and got it for that very reason. :) Would have liked the articulated robotic arms included for surgery, though!

Can you remove the bottom bit to use it as an escape pod for example? It's awesome regardless of the answer to this!!

If you mean the foot the answer is yes, that's what I did in the render above.

I'm rendering an escape pod thing, and I found it necessary to use geometry editor to remove a few stray bits that were connected to other stuff I didn't want to hide. It wasn't hard, mind you -- took a few minutes to select and delete stuff.

Yeh, I expect it will get used in a number following a similar vein. Probably with ugly looking nasties around it. Poor girl. :(

Will cool image well done http://willbear.deviantart.com/art/Escape-Pod-578540590

If you guys think we need some escape pods I would be happy to do some, Send ideas to me here. With a removable Floatation prop option and posable hatch plate could be cool.
