This sounds like a good idea.  There is something a bit like it in Fallout 4 so there is a bit of a trend for weird flying fortresses right now.  Personally I would love to see a submersible aircraft carrier option... it might be able to just do a configurable carrier of some type with movable decks, and options for wings... just saying because I've seen these things in comics and video games sometimes.
