The other day, I bought Future Slums from Kitbash, as it was on sale. I imported the files into blender then exported them as Collada files (.dae). I then imported the .dae files into daz, and saved them as Daz files. My question is, do I need to save the dae files, or can I delete those? Either way is fine, I just need to know

You need to keep the files. DAZ Studio save files point at things like meshes and textures on your hard drive, but they don't actually contain them (unlike e.g. Blender save files, which do contain things).
When you save a product, DS will save data files for geometry and UV-map, so it doesn't need the originals.
For textures I would recommend to save them in a Runtime folder. DS can use absolut path reference, but if you save them in a Runtime the path will be relative. But of course, the object you are saving need to use the textures from the Runtime.
But it must Be Saved as a Porduct for that to work.
Saving as an actual asset first, then you can save as presets and the like. Presets requires everything that the preset was made for.
Thank you all!!
