Anyone know why this Daz Exported Cowboy Jacket is invisible in Unreal?

Anyone know why this Daz Exported Cowboy Jacket is invisible in Unreal?

This is a Genesis 9 asset I tried exporting is several ways into Unreal and it always comes out invisible like this.

Anyone know why the back is gone?

When I rotate the preview or camera to the back of the jacket it is not invisible, it is only invisible from the front. Weird huh?

Any help on this is much appreciated. smiley

Try to make it a two-sided material in the material editor.

The reason is that it is a single-sided mesh - it has only one layer of polygons - and Unreal is drawuing only the polygone that face the camera. If you looked from the back it would be visible, but if you angled the camera to see the inside of the front that might well be invisible. Antything that makes it, or makes Unreal treat it as, double-sided will resolve the problem

That was exactly the problem, after hours of trying to fix it, this was a big help!

    Many thanks!

Single-sided mesh is great when it is not visible, it must certainly save a lot of headroom! But when it is visible it is terrible. Easy to fix now.

    Thanks for the help!
