A Feature I'd LOVE to see or even be willing to pay for as a DS plugin...

I've asked this exact thing in a previous forum post way over a year ago, but I'm hitting some familiar speed bumps, so I thought I'd check in and see if anything has changed for the better on this topic...
Does anyone here know of any script, plugin, work-around or hidden feature that lets you set either a video file or an image sequence as an Environment backdrop image in Daz Studio's viewport?
Basically, I use DS to do a lot of fun animation stuff with the graphMate and keyMate plugins and it would be incredibly helpful in many cases to have the ability load reference footage as the viewport BG. It's a super common feature in many other 3D programs.

This might work if you apply it to a plane: http://www.daz3d.com/animated-textures-script-for-daz-studio
The Animated Texture Script right now will not do what you are asking for.........
But Wait!
I will be submitting a new version of this script to Daz3D this weekend, that will also have this ability included.
I can't tell you when it would be available, as it will need to go thru QA and then marketing would schedule a release date.
Here's a video showing what it does.
Product Name will be: "Animated Textures Script Pro for Daz Studio 3 & 4"
OMG! Can't wait to try it out. DraagonStorm, you are awesome!
As this technique requires individual images in alpha order, can anybody tell me what software/system/method they use to break videos down into individual frames?
Thanks in advance,
G
