very simple short question...

what light best represent florescent light(cylindrical/rectangular form) in daz. distant light, spotlight, point light...?

    For Iray or for 3Delight? Really, none of the above - at least used straight. In 3Delight an area light applied to a suitable model, in Iray just specify the light geometry using a point light or spot light (depending on how you want the light to go).
