Hand signals could have a lot of use for military, police and, of course, science-fiction art. Not just between the members of a professional team, either... Ideally, these would consist purely of partial poses only, for the relevance of left and right arms. That way, we could choose a pose from a different set and then simply apply these.

Maybe flag signals, too - semaphore. As well as variations of the above for holding a flashlight, instead of only hands, for scenes set in darkness.
