How do I install the DAZ to Blender bridge without using the DIM?
how to install it manually from the zip file?

If you are talking about the Daz Studio side of the plug-in I don't think manually installing it is an option. I only have the "Install Manager Ready" download button available in my product library.
For Blender
Here
Under "How do I install the Daz to Blender Bridge?" scroll to the "Custom Addon Path" section.
There is a .PDF also. I seem to recall something was out of date with the menus in Daz Studio, or Blender in the .PDF. I am sorry I can't recall now. I have no idea if that has been fixed or not.
The problem is, that as soon you don't follow the usual "Install everything in C drive" stuff, things get complicated.
My DAZ studio application is in:
D:/DAZ3D/DAZStudio4
My content is in:
D:/DAZ3D/Studio
So how do I install (not download, done that already) the DAZ to Blender Bridge with or without DIM?
(To me things like smart content, DIM make things much more confusing and for sure not easier)
The only related file I can find is the dzblenderbridge.dll file in the plugins folder.
No guarantees, but you can try...
In Daz Studio go to > Help > About Installed Plugins select one of the plugins (not folders, if you have any.) in the text box below you should see the path to your plugins folder. Exit Daz Studio. Put dzblenderbridge.dll in the correct folder and check it in Daz Studio.
Default path is;
C:/Program Files/DAZ 3d/DAZStudio4/plugins
You can configure your 'non C Drive' Daz Studio application path in DIM - Advanced Settings - Installation tab, then still install the bridge plugins with DIM. There'll be no problem... and plugins won't touch you Content Library.
