When loading a character, add its name to G3F, G3M etc

The title says it all.

When a character is loaded that isn't called Victoria 7, Arabella 7, but just Genesis 3 Female, it would be great if the name of the character was added at the end of Genesis 3 Female.

Usually I load G3F, G2F etc and just dial in bits, but when I'm comparing it would be useful.

I'm not sure if it could be done from dialing in a character...it would probably have to be something done with a preset.

  • You can change it yourself by clicking on the name in the Scene pane twice, then editing the text field and hitting return/enter. Then if you lijke save a Character Preset.

  • I have to agree. I know it's very easy to edit, but sometimes I forget what model model I was using after changing the model a few times. Would be nice if it could just change automatically when I change model.

Yeh I know, but when I forget and have a few it gets confusing. :)

It would be less of an issue when dialing in the character as that is a morph, and doesn't relate to the skin loaded; I suppose that is what I'm most concerned over. I remorph to a greater extent than I customise textures; by the time I get to a customised texture, the model has its own name.

  • You can usually figure out the character name for the texture set by hovering over one of the diffuse/base colour thumbnail boxes in the Surfaces pane and noting the path in the pop-up box.

Yup I use that, but it's a step, and can often be in a different tab too. Yes I can be lazy. :)
