  • Tip:

The Background Blur could be much heavier - to push the Figure more in the Focus.

I think your model is feeling a little impatient about the whole modelling session. cheeky

I think your right @SpaceVagabond that was just my first go at the tutorial next time I will take your advice and make it a bit more blurrier!

Is that background an enviroment dome? It seems like a headlamp may be conflicting with the dome lighting. Not sure. That is aside from the DOF issue you are exploring...

  • no, it's one from the Multiplane Cyclorama Environments.

Maybe she forgot to turn off the headlamp. It's always the first thing i do when i add a camera.

I forgot to turn off the headlamp (Palmface blush) you would think I would know better! (Shakes Headsurprise)

Yes the background is from Multiplane Cyvlorama Environments as I only can work with 3Delight because my lappy will not render in IRay!

Yes I did forget to turn off the headlamp, it usually is the first thing I do but this time I was in a rush so messed up!

I tried to put water under the Beach Cafe but it did not come through in the render even the trees are too dark IMO.

  • well, as i'm not a expert for 3Delight Renders (i've never used it so far.

are the trees and water standalone props or is it one environment. Are there 3Delight Mats for them.

maybe you can tweak the luminance in the Surface Tab.

Here is another night lighting test render 1 without fog and 1 with fog, I think I finally got it right this time (The night lighting that is)

Did the first one Portrait style and the second in wide screen.

Lights I used AoA Ambient and Distant.

I used the GF8 character (Madeline) I just got about a week ago.
