I think "any" was a rhetorical exaggeration, right? But I agree you can create real-world look-a-likes using many different Daz characters, doing a little research finding a good skin and brows, and knowing how to apply the right morphs. Then, it's just characterization with the right hair and clothes.

About the Daz Core Os, I feel a little relieved. I thought one day I'd see Victoria 7, Teen Josie 8, or even The Girl walking in the streets laugh

Exaggeration, maybe a bit, but a lot of the celebrity lookalikes that people have mentioned in this thread haven't really looked like the celebs, but definitely had the dressing to put them in mind.

I'd be very concerned if you saw The Girl walking down the street XD

Oh... That I agree... Many of those "look-a-likes" here are just a characterization. Usually, the main promo and, when you look at the other ones, surprise, surprise... But those ones I don't consider look-a-likes but by decree...  I see an evolution in many PAs, and that's great, but  there are others... Well... I ain't even gonna start... Better talk about meeting The Girl wandering around :P

Cool! Maelwenn seems to like creating real-people-based characters so it may have been intentional. I was wondering if there's a list of Maelwenn characters here. There are some I can easily recognize: the early V4s Emma, Valeria, Vanessa, Anais, and Angel are respectively Emma Stone, Kristen Stewart, Keira Knightley, Amanda Seyfried, and Angelina Jolie; Ella is Gemma Arterton; Lanna is an stylized version of Lara Croft/Angelina Jolie (there's even a reference in the promos); Melina is Miranda Kerr; but the others, though they look like I've seen them somewhere, I can't recognize them (not all, of course, neither Pippy Fae no Candy seem to be real persons).

That being the case, I definitely hope that he/she (can't tell with the name 'Maelwenn') gets around to Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch from Riverdale!

For me - some MW resemblances -

    Aiya - Alessandra Ambrosio

    Nathalie - Sydney Sweeney

    But please....

The world needs a good Sophie Ellis Bexter - for the love of all that is holy....

Addy's Rylee is a pretty good Sydney Sweeney lookalike.

Thought I'd share some renders I've made with Rhenderarts G9 Cailee Spaeny figure. Their likenesses are excellent.

They sells their models via DM on Deviantart.

You can't necessarily tell from the sample pics, but CS Isla for G9 by Second Circle and Cleric is giving me Clemence Posey

  • Probably a stupid question, but is there a Tanya Roberts DAZ clone out there ? With all the jungle girl outfits that were released through the years, I would have imagined she had her place...

    Great find, Haruchai,

Just a quick note for those using Michael and Victoria 3 after a long time: the CR2 files reference .obz files, such as blMilMan_m3Lo.obz. If you don't have these files in your Runtime, just edit the CR2 files, which are in text format, and change the .obz extension references to .obj and you shouldn't have any more issues after that.

Is there a way to convert those RR morphs to apply them to regular V3 and M3?

I just applied a smoothing modifier on the John Lennon morph and it was an improvement. I went as far as sub-dividing him, then started applying morphs, and at one point it looked as if I had converted John Lennon into Jeff Bezos. LMAO

Had he lived, I could imagine him making that conversion himself; it's easy if you try.

The reason I asked, is that I can convert V3 and M3 morphs to Genesis 3 using GenX2...

    Can you!?!

I must confess to failing utterly to do that. I have GenX2 and all the extras, and converting fro V3 to anything looks almost entirely unlike what it started as. Particularly wanted to try GND2, and the Genesis3 figure only bore the tiniest resemblance.

    Ahh well.

    Regards,

    Richard

    Ella Purnell?

Just saw the promo in the store before checking this thread and the first name that popped for me was Joan Jett.

EDIT: She also reminds me of Joyce DeWitt.

If it was the intention... A shot quite far from the target...

Was really just opening the discussion, certain promo shots are closer but by no means a definite.
