Doesn't seem to be a really good set of newer ninja suits around. Something like in this pic would be perfect:

Whats out there seems to be either old, Dynamic (too much trouble), or just don't look like ninja clothes. Theres so many dojos, and other asian architecture/props in the store, but no decent ninja clothes. I've seen them all pretty much, between the daz store and renderosity.

The suit they used in the pose promo is this without the shin guard and chest plate.
Its a genesis suit so it should autofit to G2F and G2M just fine and from there all you need is a clothes transfer addon to transfer from G2F to G3.
I own that. If I remember I tried it on Lee 6 and it blew up all over the scene.
Try turning down smoothing iterations and collisions. Genesis items typically had what are now astoundingly high numbers, like 20 and 18. Also, make sure that you use prime numbers, or at least numbers that can't be multiples of each other; apparently, that interferes with proper function of smoothing. And if that doesn't fix everything, try shifting from Base Shape Matching to Generic Smoothing.
All that said, if it's old enough -- early Genesis instead of near when G2 came out -- it may simply not work, but those may give it a shot.
It should work, here is G2M Lee wearning the full outfit. I turned down smoothing to 1 and applied Plastic - Smooth Iray shader while holding ctrl and then selecting ignore images so it keeps all the image maps. You can save it as a wearable and you don't have to go through the autofit menu or have to take the steps of lowering smoothing again.
EDIT: I noticed that the rope was going through breast plate but you can fix that by changing collision on the rope prameters from Genesis 2 to the Breast plate.
Hey thanks guys for the infos. Considering the info you guys gave, I started working with Lee 6 and the suit again, overnight, last night. While working on this I remembered something; I don't think it was this suit that blew up, I think this is the one that when I applied a pose to Lee, it would corrupt itself. What I mean is, for example, one pose had lee's head turned and the mask no longer covered his chest, you could see the color of his chest from just underhis neck/chin to where his jacket comes to/overlaps (top of jacket on chest). I believe also while applying poses you could see a gap on the side of his hip, therefore showing skin as well. I believe it was this suit that did that stuff. Regardless, I was having troubles one way or another with everything; either this suit was not for this asian character, or this ninja pose set didn't work for it, or some other, etc, etc. I also tried the G2 ninja blades line of items, I believe that may have been the one that blew up on Lee 6 or another character. I just don't remember anymore which items were doing what. I had some luck clothing Lee last night with the above suit, but it got late and I didn't try to pose him, and I goofed on saving him as a wearable, mainly because I'm not used to that option and the parameter options it has, checkboxes, etc.
In my experience from what you describe where items go all over the place is because of items being set to collide with itself or it is a geograft item that is set to collide with the figure it is geografted to and it then becomes distorted when posing. You can try selecting all the items and in parameters set collision to None and/or turn down collision iterations to 0.
When saving a suit as a wearable select the figure first and nothing else, in your case it would be the Lee figure. Then go to File>Save as> Wearable. After choosing save location, a menu will appear where you can select what items attached to the figure you want to save as a wearable preset. Make sure to uncheck items you don't want as part of the preset like hair. Unless you want that.
