Subtitle Music Descriptions

I am a believer in music for enhancing video scenes.  But I get a kick out of the subtitles that describe the music playing.  "Tense music", "Ominous music" are fairly straight forward, but then I see "Warbling shrieking  synth arpeggios" or similar.  Gets pretty humorous in the TV series "1899", which is a pretty well done show (if a little weird) (OK, a LOT weird).  I recall pianist/composer Dick Hyman talking about direction he was given for a piece, something like "A mix of Bach and Led Zeppelin with some Brubeck thrown in" (now there is a great subtitle).  He said, "I'll do my best".
