Opal-style Four Arms?
I know that there's been four arms done in the past (for older models), but is there / could someone do a four-arm morph similar to Opal from Steven Universe? Where the secondary arms are right beneath the primary ones to the point where both arms look natural? I wasn't too fond of the other four-armed morph since the secondary arms came out of the midsection and that just looked really weird. Is there any way for a noobie to create something like this, either? I mostly use DAZ3D for pose reference while making not very good arts, so it doesn't have to look superb.
I've done something similar where I just copy+paste the model so that there's two and they overlap, and then just adjust the arms seperately, but this prevents me from doing further changes without messing everything up.
EDIT: It messes up the render a lot, too.

Have you tried parenting the hidden figure to the one you can see so that they move together? Or perhaps using X-away on everything in the hidden second figure *except* the arms?
That plus judicious use of collision can do wonders.

It's not perfect, of course -- by using collision it means that if the two sets of arms ever get close to each other weird things will happen, but still.
How do I do either of those things?
Also, i've seen that old Four Arms Genesis thing. It's not what I'm looking for, like I said, the other pair of arms is way too low on the body. Not to mention it doesn't work for newer Genesis stuff.
Yeah, I wasn't even referring to that four-arms mod, so that's not a problem.
As for parenting, go to the scene tab, select the figure you want to keep hidden, and parent it to the one you want kept visible. Even if you pose the first figure in ways rhe second one does not quite follow, all you need to is, when you finish, copy the first figure, selct the 'hidden' figure, and select paste to figure. It will then completely match the first one in size and shape. Then simply hide the 'hidden' figure except for its arms, and then move the arms separately however you wish. At least, that's how i do things when i want two figures with identical forms and poses, which does happen occasionally.
As for the x-away, this may require a particular morphing mod. Problem is, I have no many i have lost track of which one this may be. Someone else may know though. if you have it, all you need do is go to the sahping tab and use the x-away sliders.
