genesis 9 clothes on genesis 8 figures

(I tried to use the search function to find an answer to this, but it's not very good)

Can I use the new genesis 9 clothes on a genesis 8 figure, some of the clothes look pretty good but I don't want to throw out all my Gen 8 characters (Dain etc.) and have to buy new ones ?

    Not out of the box, but if you buy the G9 clones for earlier figures you can then autofit them to G8. As always with any automatic conversion, results may vary depending on the item.

    I was testing on G8 base figures when this was moved and did a render. The dress on G8F had the textures stretch and even a shader didn't help. The G8M outfit had no issues. No problems with fit of the hairs, but the H.Materials on the James Hair didn't work, so I had to use one of my shaders for a dForce hair. I also used SY Ultra Templates for Genesi 9 on a few items.

    Thanks for your replies, I didn't want to spend money of stuff that I can't use right away, i might heva to get wth the times and get some G9 characters
