Carrara's image series numbering is driving me nuts

anyone else get continually caught out by Carrara's image frame numbering?

it doesn't pad them with zeros so after 999 they get inserted between the previous frames in many editors

fortunately Blender video editor doesn't do this but I got caught out twice today with other programs

Flowframes interpolator AGAIN fell for that once before

then batch rename in irfanview managed to make it worse ruining my original image series

It's possible to change the number of digits using the options button. Thus the limit goes from 999 to ... well 9999 or even further.

oh it does indeed do 9999 but not 0999 blush or 0009

    it's 009 099 199 1099 not 0009 0099 0199 1099

so 1001 gets inserted before 001 in some editors etc

as I said not all, Virtualdub another notorious one for shuffling them

Well it works fine on both macOS Sierra and Windows 11. I even used 6 digits.

This screenshot is actually from the W11 files. I've connected the pc drive to the mac thru the LAN.

That's odd, but interesting. I wonder what's different on your pc.

I've attached my test scene file. Maybe you like to try it.

Yeah, that's right. The options button to the right of the Sequenced PNG.
