Needing a hand with these Metal Magic guitars. The meshes look great, but they all import into DAZ|Studio untextured, and into PoseRay either untextured or with a dayglo Hawaiian-chessboard texture. What else needs to be done?
Have you tried applying the textures manually, once they're imported into Studio?
(Beyond that, I'm out of ideas.)
Oh, and it appears we missed one of the Metal Magics:

Hey Rob, there is a lot of musical instruments on 3D Bar.
http://3dbar.net/?cat=47
They have drums, guitars, violins & pianos. Most in .3ds format.
You might want check if they are "safe" to add to your list.
You can apply the textures in PoseRay's material window & check in the preview window to make sure they are correct.
When you save the .obj file, it will make the .mtl, (materials) file. So when you load it into Studio/Poser, all the materials will auto apply.
One thing though... I found it necessary to edit the .mtl file to remove all the data path info from the texture map calls.
Just put the textures in the same directory as the .obj file, and they will load.
Example:
map_Kd C:\...\...\maps_banya5x3\doska.jpg
map_Kd doska.jpg
Gerry
PERFECT.... I've been looking for such a piano (3rd item, first page) for weeks.
Thank You, Thank You, gerry.....
I've had a report that this freebie is no longer available:
It isn't available right now - the site's gone and the zip file isn't in the Wayback Machine. I've removed the link from the list on page 1. However, it appears the site might just have had a hiccup in its registration, so I'll leave the link here for a few days... just i case it comes back.

Модели Разное
then
Музыкальные инструменты (20)
My Russian is all rusty since the Cold War, Kerya, and Google Translate went "Duh". What's on offer there?
Found Модели Разное okay, but clicking on it does nothing.
clicking Модели Разное should open a submenu below these words, one of them the Musical Instruments.
I had to allow the site in NoScript (Firefox)
Ah, so it's a variety of instruments, I assume. I'll switch from IE to Firefox and have another try.
Thanks, Kerya, you're an Addict -- but I guess you already knew that.
I had no chance ... addicted to the end. LOL
I'll have to check that site when it comes back - all I'm getting are timeout errors and blank pages.
In the meantime, have a few more links (and a couple of new categories):

Re http://sw-in.narod.ru/index.htm
Hope you can get through, Rob, but be warned, there's a LOT more there than just music instruments. You might find a fair bit of stuff for your own links threads.

I'm in, I've doe a spot-check of a half-dozen freebies, and I've discovered half of them are Studio MAX files - which don't convert to anything else (unless one hasn't used up one's 30-day trial period of Studio MAX). I'll have to go through every page. one by one... later.
I still need to do that review... but not while I'm hosting the Freebie Challenge.

I was going to add tullugaq's Accordion, but I see you already have it. It's been moved to http://tullugaq.com/index.php/free/prpos/.
The links on that page are broken, but luckily I can read URLs. You fix it by removing the part in red.

Thanks, semicharm!
The list update will have to wait until I can get the files off my old computer - including my master freebie list.
