I could use some help creating trees.

I'm trying to create trees that look like this but I just can't get any further. The crown just won't turn out that way. It is clear to me that the trunk still has to be reworked. does anyone have experience? this is definitely possible, the only question is how. I think it has something to do with distance to branching.

I did some Carrara tree experiments in my 'No One Asked Me' thread. I have an acacia tree experiment here. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7023961/#Comment_7023961
I have other tree modeler explorations in the same thread. I used hybrid preset to start the acacia tree.
Here is another experiment in which I tried to use the surface replicator function as a substitute for tree-modeler leaf mode. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/7041141/#Comment_7041141
Main posts of my tree modeler experiments. See here. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/2413911/#Comment_2413911
Customizing tree/branch/leaf shape. This example is the opposite of what you want, but the graph editor might be a good place to start.
Yes, that's the same approach as I'm trying. the appearance is not what I imagine. I have to keep testing until I find something. :)
I also tried once to get that tree shape.... gave up and just bought some of the trees from dinoraul over at Rendo
hope you get to work it out
