Animate key help

Hi, im just learning about the animation abilities in Daz. Ive watched some tutorials but i cant seem to delete keys, the delete key icon dosent light up or does so randomly it seems, when i click on a key it dosent do anything or it will delete the entire figure

The delete key on the keyboard is not mapped to deleting keys (by default) - you need to make sure you have the keys selected, then the delete button should enable.

How do you select the keys? I click on them and nothing happens

Do they go from black to highlight colour?
