Better hair from daz g3f

I want to see more hair from daz. the type that involves being long in the back but not showing in front. Blakely hair and Spring hair come to mind but they have all their inherant problems.

Blakely leaves a strange artifact around the face and spring hair has hair in front... that you can morph back on the shoulder and the back but it not easy. I love those 2 non fluffy all over the place hairstyles and would like to see them updated for G3F. That being said these hair need more control morphs and actual gravity and shape adaptation. How many times did i attempt to adjust hair on the top of my big boobed female just fo find out that it just lookes plain ugly and you have to do some editiing afterwards...

The hair should have some sort of autofit to the shape of your figure when it comes to the area where it falls on other body parts, especially on the back, shoulders and breast areas , especially with long hair. So far i have not see anything like this. Some hairs are better at adjusting because they have lots  of controls sliders which helps but i think someone or Daz shoudl strive to create hair that adapts.

Another thing that bothers me is gravity, Mopst hair are sold and displayed on static figures that are standing up and are nearly never bent over so you can never see if the hair set as enough sliders to "simulate" gravitry or not and it is a shame.  Daz should try to enforce and give bonus points to those who are making hair that have achieved proper gravity simulation, motion simulation and adaptivity to the bodies of your model.

I am happy to see that we have come a long ways from years ago but still i think we are at barely 50% effiency with the hair systems and what they coudl possibly do. Like i said Daz should push for better quality hair.

my 2 cents.

You are going to have to get comfortable with morphing hair to get what you need. While you say its not easy, "nothing worth doing is easy". Also I would argue it is pretty easy with practice.

Some PA's put more morphs into hair than others, but there is a limit to what they can do for a lot of reasons. Even the products with morphs don't tend to address all my issues. The resolution is adapting the stock product to fit your needs. You have to remember these are just stock assets...They can't do everything for everyone in all situations. They need to be modified.

Some of the issues you are complaining about are beyond the scope of what a PA could do. You are asking for technology that Daz Studio does not have. The reason you don't see things, is because solutions do not exist.

Daz is just a marketing company. Daz doesn't really make any content. They buy it or sell it for indivudual artists. They don't give bonus points for anything. They have very well known revenue share policy. They can't favor one product over another (sadly).

Agree. I have watched the PAs get a lot better at very realistic hair over the years thus stepping up the game for newer PAs which are creating quite good hair also. Hopefully technology will advance rapidly over the next 5 years.
