Genetics and/or Face and/or clothing randomizer...
I wanted to make a script to do this, but it is beyond my level at the moment.
I just wanted a simple face and/or body randomizer that I can select which attributes to play with, and constraints to those attributes... Then let it go wild generating random model values, displaying them in a 4-way view, with one view as a spinning display, to let you see all the nuances that may not be obvious on a stationary profile. (User-advancing, not auto-puking out models, unless it is on a timer or linked to a 720-deg preview advancement.)
I didn't want it to just fill my hard-drive with junk-models. I wanted it to be a live toy, while I am working on models or prior to modeling. When I see something I like, I would save that to one of the genetics profiles. That would be used to recreate it and also to define future "centerlines" or "limits", for genetic variations instead of just random variations which would be all over the place.
I eventually wanted it to extend into skin and hair, for complete variance "treasure-finding" of those rare "superb forms" that just seem to work.
For work-flow, I wanted it to include clothing too. Then I could have an army of a million "tasteful" genetic variants that are all unique-ish, for rendering. Just needs a mug-shot line-up for ultimate functionality, so you can get a blast of three variations at once, or load-up 7 random altered models from your pre-set keepers list.
Oh, with the ability to go back, like an UNDO, to previously skipped variations, but always moving forward in randomness... Just in-case you accidentally pass-up a model variation and want to go back, but constantly random moving forward so you are never actually seeing any pure random models over and over again. (With the exception for having saved some as genetic "likes", which constrains to similarities for fine-tuning, or caps-off and avoids values that you don't ever have selected, out of range of beauty and into the horribly disfigured ranges.)
Oh, new idea... Profiles for genetics... Saving just the extents values in some pure random alterations, as too deformed, as ugly, as okay, as hot, etc... I like some ugly people, and deformed ones, but not the broken ones. It would be better than running through all the potential settings and selecting ranges and modifications manually, and more fun to watch for an afternoon. (Ultimately the end-result should be able to spit out "your ultimate HOT model, and a beautiful ugly one, and some pure average ones, and the worst possible deformity from the combination of the reject data merged into one genetic nightmare.)
The secret would be to actually extend beyond the limits by a few points, or it would just end-up honing-in too far into one solid selection and no variation at all.
