A Simple Hex Code Box in the Color Picker

Quite often I find myslef wanting to copy the color values from a parameter on one surface to another surface or parameter.  It would be almost ideal if there was a hex code box available in the color picker which I could copy the value from and then paste in to.  Unless I'm missing something, I have to write down the RGB or HSL values and then manually enter them on the new surface.  An even better addition would be to add an option when right-clicking on a parameter with a color value to copy/paste just the color.

Yes, I know I can drag a color to one of the custom swatches and then use that to apply it in a different parameter.  However, that isn't helpful when I want to paste in a color value I sampled from another application (i.e. Photoshop) which provides the hex value.

    Drag the color to one of the custom color boxes at the bottom of the picker.

    Yeah, as I said in original post, I know I can drag colors to custom swatches.  That still doesn't help when trying to paste in colors sampled in another application.

    I think studio users would definately leverage this. the OcDS plugin has this and I use it all the time.

    Why DS can't call the OS native color picker has always been a mystery to me...in general it would solve all the missing features.
