Animation for Game Creation
Hi, DAZ Community.
I am new in this forum, so please apologize me if there are some mistakes.
Currently I am looking for an easy way to create a sprite for my game, and I found DAZ to be the easiest to achieve my desire. As I am not very good in posing character in realistic way, please create some products which contain pose for several different kind of weapons in battle. For example slashing, thrusting, shielding, and running with sword, spear, or axe. Each weapon should have about 6 or more frames of animation. Previously, I tried to order pre-made character from Pioneervalleygames website but the site no longer accept commision. So I am trying to create my own sprite now.
The following is an example about how pre-made character from Pioneervalleygames website looks (it seems they also using DAZ):
Order of the pose frames from top to bottom:
- Idle – Waiting
- Defend – Guarding
- Woozy – Under status effect (Also low HP value)
- Struck – Being hit (Taking damage)
- Attack – Striking the target
- Item – Using an item
- Skill – Using a technique
- Magic – Casting a spell
- Advance – Moving forward
- Retreat – Moving away (Also flee)
- Victory – Battle end
- Enter – Battle start
- Dead – Corpse (Dead-dood-ded)
In addition of that, I also need a pose for walking animation and riding an animal animation.
I think those pose set will have many potential users, as there are many indie game developers with tight budget as me who are looking for easiest solution for creating game.
Best regards,
Ryan Bram

No answer?
At least please somebody give me a suggestion where I can see the alternative if no artist want to make my requested pose.
Thanks
Many of my fighting pose sets have these static poses in them. I am working towards animations, but I don't have anything currently available for public consumption. Your project intrigues me, so I might see what I can do.
Wow, nice to hear that. I am very currious to see what will you make. Currently I am using Genesis 2 Male and Female morphs, so please make your pose sets compatible with both of them. And of course I will no bother to suggest your pose sets to some game communities that I had joined.
Regards
Hi, @FeralFey ,
It's about two month since my first post. Are there any news about this progress? I am really curious to see what the pose will become.
Thanks.
Maybe you can find something like that here, pilning.net
but it only work with PC not Mac
Hi Ryanbram. I just saw this. I haven't forgotten you, but I'm sorry to say that the project was put on the back burner as I've been commissioned to do some sets for the upcoming annual PC + sale. There is never enough time in the day for me to get everything done that I want and/or need, especially when it comes to pose work. I'll keep plugging away and see if I can move this up the list for you.
