Version 2, now 9 SSS shaders included.

A shader is different from a MAT file, shader removes your texture on figure, for retain textures you need to apply this shaders holding CTRL key (more info detailed below image)

Note: they are my personal SSS shaders for my style of rendering, they are not universal and not perfect, use if you like the image below and if can be useful to you,

the shaders are not intended for Realism, please take note of this, if you are beginner on iRay on Daz, it can be useful being a base for experiment and perfect your own SSS shader.

instructions included on the file.

These should be very useful, thx!

Do these go in Shaders, or Shader Presets?

    AWESOME!

Just a pair of quick tests with the SSS5 preset. Just a bit of tweaking in the glosyness from my part. Maybe on the sweaty side because of it, but i always liked shiny skin and brighter environments will flatten the highlights a bit anyway.

Thanks a lot. The presets are being very useful to me already!

    Quick question:

You say to "remove the bump map too" ... from the Base Bump.

Then do you put the Normal Maps into the Base Bump channel?

Nope, Normal Maps goes into the Normal Map channel.

Bump channel must be empty, normal map does better bump mapping, just for skin set at 0.10 to 0.20 max of value.

Bump and displacement are not traslating well on iRAy,Normal maps is better.

this site converts any grayscale map in normal map... http://cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/

    Excellent. good luck!

example using normal maps on figure and my shader SSS5 preset, no bump, no displacement, btw, due to restrictions on female nude torso, I'm forced to render a digital male clon of ME...enjoy, me. ha!

Not as good as your examples, but here`s another test. Same settings as before but with a different lighting.
