I am looking for clothing and accessories to use in viking/norse themed renders.
I’ve been searching for some time now, but didn’t find anything I really liked (Except a wonderful early medieval tunic freebie…dynamic at that.. but only for poser *bangshead*). The stuff should be halfway historically correct *g*, I found some helmets and swords
It would be great if anyone round here maybe had a link or two…...
The stuff in different stores is eiter too expensive for me right now or too old.
M4 or maybe genesis, but i’d prefer M4 .

One thing that might help you is the following process to use an unrigged clothing article on any of the Gen 4 figures.
1. Load up the figure and the clothing item into the scene.
2. Go to the Scene tab and select the figure. On the Tab bar you will see an icon that has an arrow and four lines on it. Click on this and go to Edit -> Convert figure to Weight Mapping ...
3. Select the clothing object.
4. Click on the Tab icon again and select Assets -> Transfer Utility
5. A box will open up and your source will be the Gen 4 figure and the Target will be the clothing object. Select Accept.
You now have a simple rig on your clothing that will follow the figure. This will not work on say a cloak that is a plane and requires bending around the body of the figure but for a shirt or pants or a tunic this process will work. For Genesis you do not need to do the weight mapping because it is already weight mapped. I have not tried this on say Antonia or BVH's Angela but I bet it would work with them as well. Remember that morphs may or may not be supported in the clothing. Happy hunting!

The .3ds files can be imported into Bryce, exported as .obj ... imported into Hexagon and resized/repositioned and exported. Then imported into D/S and turned into a prop!
Psst, Hexagon can import .3ds files :) You can skip Bryce! :)

Guess it happened that once too often Hexagon was supposed to import certain files and couldn't ... therefore I don't tend to think of it first for opening anything but .obj and sometimes it's own files.

Well, some people paid good money for years back ... but it is an "old" program with old coding apparently that I gathered from reading around is not easy to update. So we'll be happy that it works at all. Certainly works well for making morphs.
Oh and I discovered that the smoothing tool crashes it with a low poly mesh, but if one smooths it to level 2, then it works fine. Mine not to reason why. nope.

You could always try to recreate her face via the FaceGen function (which comes free with the exporter, albeit with a 3D "watermark" on the forehead of the morph). The morph would be for Genesis though.

Hello!
I was wondering if someone could help me with a little morph: I need a chest-spandex type morph for V4 Elite Utopian (with the breast size of -60%). I know there is a chest spandex morph available, but that doesn't give good results on the utopian morph. :roll:
I need it for a personal project, where I want to make a second-skin outfit to apply as clothing, and the second-skin was the only technique that allowed me to texture it the way I wanted. :red:
I'd really appreciate the help, and I can send the morph pose file to be easier to work on it.

What I see in the pictures below the download buttons are things on Sasuke256's gallery. They have been repackaged but maybe you did want the older versions. I tend to prefer Aiko 3 over Aiko 4… Renders take less time, etc…
