Genesis Merfolk

I fully realize that the tail is going to be a problem, but I just watched the Mermaids: the Body Found and I'd love to create merfolk like that. If the tail isn't an option, perhaps a morph of the legs into a split leg variation of the tail?

Anyway, it's just a thought. Hope someone can figure it out.

Not that I'd object to a more traditional mermaid either. ;)

Ooo, I like. Yes please, we can haz mermaids? Also, if we can get geo-grafty bits for webbed fingers and toes, it would be awesomesauce.

I was really hoping weight-mapping would open the way to good webbed fingers, but considering the limitations we are so far seeing in body handles I'm not sure it will.

Would ghost boning help there at all?

There should by no reason why they can't make merfins for Genesis. DAZ has had merfolk lines since the original Victoria! :)

On webbed fingers, the images here http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/5697/ look interesting.

I like the idea of mermaids and men too.
