Small(ish) wedding chapels and churches..

How about a few small, quaint, romantic wedding chapels and churches? There are numerous large (huge/MASSIVE?GARGANTUAN!) churches and cathedrals (think Jack Tomalin's work) but nothing that could be used for a more intimate setting. The churches and chapels offered also tend to be dark wood and somewhat dark and somber. How about light, airy and uplifting?

And yes Jack, I'm making this suggestion to you. I love your stuff but am looking for something more intimate.

    First thing that comes to mind is DM's Kapelle, although it's pretty much medieval-looking. Can't think of anything more modern.

    But honestly, I doubt it's what you want. I did it as a personal project. It's an exact replica of the chapel near my house, but it's not really suited to a wedding.

    Thanks for the suggestion but I have it already. It's nice and bright, but too tall and narrow. Good start though.
    And wow, the Alps...you must have amazing views. I used to live on the Canadian West coast and loved the mountains.
    My favourite movie is an oldie that starts with a beautiful Lamborghini Muira winding it's way through the Italian Alps
    to the crooning sounds of Matt Monro. Amazing scenery and a gorgeous car...*sigh*.

    I keep hoping that one of these guys will go to the Salt Lake Temple and go take some HDR's around that location, I'm sure that Salt Lake has plenty of great spots for our renders... :) I'm with you tho.. and I'd like to see more religious themed clothing.

    Ah, ok. Well, thanks for buying it.

    Yes, life in the Alps is nice. As I said, that chapel was a personal project, and I walk past it every day. It gives me a nice feeling to think I managed to build it in 3d.

    Merlin's Church is reasonably small and intimate inside; that said, it's also dark and wood.

    If all you want is the interior, TruForm has a Wedding Hall at Renderosity that's also light and airy. It's just the main chamber, nothing else, and relatively modern looking.

    Neither of the above are cheap, but they fit what you need.

    Thanks for the hints but I already have them all. Merlin's Hall is also dark and somber. Truforms stuff is junk [u]in my opinion[/u]. The architecture is uninspiring and simplistic, and the construction devoid of details...except for the flowers which are wildly too detailed. I have a couple of their sets and they're the same. Basic construction and lack of details then one item that's ridiculously overdetailed. It's as if they have two people making the item; one obsessed with detail and the other who can't be bothered with it.
    I have some freebies (pews, alter, stained glass windows) that I've acquired and am looking at simply modifying an item such as Anderson Hall Foyer, or the Reading room.
