I would like to get a del of eaon soul's Alice model. I have tried to create a likeness with morphs and expressions but have come disappointingly short.

Not sure what you mean by
"... a del of eaon soul's Alice model..."
Alice is a custom character that they often use in promos.
ohh,ok, that makes much more sense :)
shown best here
I think Bonnie could be a good starting point for the facial features

An updated genesis 8 figure or genesis 3 figure would be really nice from Aeon soul.
Sorry my keyboard sometimes delay responding to typing. Model figure. morfh. all of his new clothing are nice but I would love to hav a g8 character of his beautiful girls.
As I understand it, the Alice model was based on the PA's own daughter, and has been available for some previous figures, but they withdrew it after comments about how strange the character looked, so I'd consider an updated figure unlikely.
That is very sad. I have been a fan of his Alice figure every sensh the start of his career with Renderosity.
Yeah, a lot of people in these forums seem to dislike her. (I don't.) Also, another thing that I have noticed is that Alice doesn't have a definite form. Even in more recent promos, there's variants of her. (To me, these more recent promos looks like AS uses Bluejaunte character skins or something similarly set up.)
As an artist, even in my own work I feel I have a tendency to "regret," previous work and either try to redo it or erase the evidence. (The latter seems like something AS does, since they don't seem like they'd release some unique fantasy V4 outfits for G8F.)
So yeah, the best you can do is try to recreate your own version based on the features you like about her. I have done so by eyeballing it, but that's because I'm certain there won't be a native Genesis version. I would very much buy an actual Alice, since her unique look can add something to mixes.
Nope.
We don't know who invented this rumor, but it's untrue, in fact there isn't even a daughter :).
As for Alice, in her "final-form", Alice-Ily (face, bodyshape and skin), she was actually available at RuntimeDNA until we closed our store there and retired all our V4 products due to the fact that we would no longer support V4 and Poser.
At the moment we're mostly focused on clothes, clothing textures and poses, but we'd like to go back to characters as well. Nothing is set in stone yet though.
That said, we're not going to release Alice herself. As many have noticed Alice is constantly evolving, slightly or greatly and she is different in each product we release. We don't want to release something we'd find ourselves dissatisfied with after 2/3 months :)
Thank god. The idea of someone rendering a likeness of thier dauhter in all those sexy poses was yikes as hell.
Why? every female was someones daughter, so any likeness rendered is the same concept.
My boyfriend making a sexy portrait of me? Flattering.
Some stranger making a sexy portrait of me? Still mostly flattering, probably.
My own father or mother making a sexy portrait of me? Yikes yikes yikes yikes yikes.
I guess I just see it differently.
I agree with the yikes, but that doesn't stop it from happening over and over again. Any user can recreate any person in 3D these days and do.
"Oh daughter, we love you so much, we made a realistic 3D figure with your exact features and proportions."
"That's a little weird, dad, but thanks, I guess."
"Also, we put it on the market, and now the Internet is full of explicit pictures of you having sex with a dragon."
Glad you are setting the record straight... too many rumours are started by bored people with nothing better to do. Pointing out untruths is the only way to combat it.
Love your outfits and textures. :)
+1
I had that concern too, I feel a lot better about the character knowing she is a creative choice.
Ah, I gotcha now. yeah, probably been spending to much time on sketchy game sites where anything goes, LOL
Funny, I recreated a friend of mine in face gen for her website. She's is really attractive and wanted to share the morph with users to her site. i told her that is probably not a ghood idea unless she is cool with seeing her morph in all kinds of sketchy, porn types images and animations. I then did a few quick images to show her what I mean and she decided against it, LOL
Great! With all that out of the way, AS is going to rerelease Alice for G8F, right? ;
I guess you missed the post by them above
Hence my emoji.
I am so glad that i finally found this forum after all of these years. I have spent a ton of time driving myself crazy trying to find Alice. This find for me is bittersweet for me, because it's sweet now since I can stop looking for her and bitter for me, because now I know that i will never have her to work with and will never be able to render her for myself. At best atleast my search has closure.
Well, that sounds so familiar to me. ;-)
Can always try to dial spin it yourself. Might take a couple hours, but worth a try.
I still think back fondly to the rather stylised Keilo (Possibly? my memory has never been what it should be) V3 based AS character. Having developed a TriAx version of V3 in the last year with autofit, so much clothing would fit her now and it'd be amazing to try her in loads of G3F/G8F/G9 clothing too. I suspect she'd look remarkable in much of it.
Ah well, what's gone is gone. We could but ask, no more than that, and we have an answer.
Regards,
Richard.

'Cause for twenty four years I've been living next door to searching the world for Alice
Twenty four years, just waitin' for a chance
To tell her how I'm feeling, maybe get a second glance
Now I've gotta get used to not living never getting to live next door to Alice
>>ducks<<
This is news I just sought out. Most disappointing. I've been hoping for an Up-to-date AS Alice for... quite some time. It seems to me that the end users could easily be satisfied with it regardless of whatever continued tinkering the originators engaged in to satisfy themselves. I find it a sufficiently unique character to be quite worth the effort, as I'm drawn to singular and identifiable looks, celebrities, and the like. So Alice being classified in the same category is the highest compliment I can offer. And perhaps I'll offer a renewed plea to reconsider, it's been two years. perhaps now?
.It is because Alice is unique and unavailable that makes her a 3D celebrity and icon.
AeonSoul decision to keep her custom is smart marketing. And the concept of a unique Alice is 10-12 years of 3D history. There was a V4 version of Alice available once way, way, back. And each version since has been stylized and unique.
