Free beta?

I just purchased Carrara 8.5 after reading that the latest beta is available to all who have purchased the full version for free, but when I go to the page to add it to my basket, I am informed that I will have to pay $199. Am I missing something?

    I think the beta has to be installed by DIM. Start up your DIM and enable the "public build" to see the beta so it can be installed. I am basing that suggestion on a post by JimmyC.

    However, because I might be wrong (I am two betas behind), you might want to back up a few pages in that same thread and look at the posts by DazSpooky. He should know what is going on with the beta installation.

    Thanks, I'll check the thread out.

    I have enabled Public in DIM, but it's not appearing there

    Also make sure that 'Software' is enabled as well.

    All fixed now. A quick note to support and it was done.
