Is Bryce ever getting a real overhaul?

Daz3D worked magic with the 4.x version of D|S, I'm wondering if they're ever going to tear Bryce to the foundation and rebuild it in a similar fashion. 7.x feels just as slow and clunky as 5.5 in my opinion.
