Yes and made a statement at the top of this post as I knew people would be asking about other products wink. I have put out a road map for Q1 product releases on my artstation.

I'm assuming you're talking about this bad boy...

This is a massive project and will take time. I don't have a release ETA but maybe as early as this summer.

Ah I see. Yes I try to base my models on the actual dinosaurs if they are representing the actual dinosaur. Most theropods are shaped this way- and many species that exist today share similar shapes to each other, for example- comparing a tiger to a lion or other big cats.

That would miss the whole point of this product though. This is for a different crowd, the one that wants a Giganotosaurus, not a fantasy dinosaur/creature. The Giganotosaurus will be the celebrity dinosaur this year due to Jurassic World: Dominion. I got something coming out later this year for your type of crowd as well. Stay tuned.

Haha, and so is my daughter! It's her favorite dino and pressures me all the time to do one. Next theropod I do will probably be an Allosaurus. Thank you also for the support!

When I saw and started buying Dinoraul's Poser based dinosaurs, it re-ignited a passion that had been dormant for several decades. Now your models are doing the same for me in Daz Studio. I am amazed at the fantastic detail you bring to them. Any plans in the future to do a Stegosurus or Ankylosaurus? And perhaps an Apatosaurus, or Brontosaurus now that has been revived as a separate species. Along with the previously mentioned Allosaurus and your previously released models, that would hit all of my all time childhood favourites.

An Ankylosaurus and Apatosaurus or Brontosaurus is certainly on my radar as well!

yeah, I am in the actual dino crowd since I can't really find many uses for fantasy creatures. For fantasy though, I would kill to have a theropod about the size of a utahraptor with a fantasy (not western) saddle and harness set and poses (hint, hint). The TRex saddle idea was very cool, but too big to be viable in any of my projects.

Gigantotosaurus looks amazing!  And here's another vote for an apatasaurus and an anklyosaurus, and a big PLEASE to a parasaurolophus (my personal favorite dino)!

Also, is there any chance of perhaps getting some texture expansion packs for your dinosaurs?  I have your triceratops, and love it, but I wish I had more color and pattern options.  I would like some brighter, more vibrant colors, like modern lizards and snakes.  Then I could make some really interesting herd pictures.

I would also be VERY interested in young/baby/hatchling dino morphs.  I tried making my own baby triceratops by enlarging the head and feet, but it didn't really work that well.  The horns need to be shorter, and the tail, too.  Probably wouldn't be something you would be interested in making, but I thought I'd throw it out there!

Can you add a texture version without a pin-up picture? In my opinion, the girl is a little out of other style. Also empty texture will be convenient for those who want to draw their own decals.

Nothing like this is planned at the moment but it is something I can consider down the road. Babies and/or young versions of the dinosaur always require a lot of reworking of the model and I usually make the call to save something like that to do in a seperate product later. Only problem is I never returned to make that seperate product :(  I will plan this for one of the dinosaurs in the future and sales will probably determine if I do more.

Do you have any references of a saddle concept you're thinking more about? Just so I have a better idea of what you're looking for.

Yes, these are not the final textures by any means and I will certainly take customization for people to add their own markings in. I will also be reworking the pin up for those that want that one also. The product is still in its concepting phase as far as materials. Pin up inspiration comes from Starcraft armor.

More barbarian fantasy meets Ark survival. I have kitbashed in the past, but that lacks the details like harnesses, reins, working adjustable stirrups, bits of armour, etc. As long as the mesh is there, it can be textured to work in either a fantasy barbarian setting, or more realistic like an Ark senario.

ideally this is what I want, but it limits the uses since it is so specific https://www.deviantart.com/nathanrosario/art/Dinosaur-Rider-49719896

My understanding is that whilst scientists have a pretty good idea of the shapes of these creatures, based on the fossilised bones that have been uncovered, the skin and other tissue features is largely guess work since none of that has survived. At least that gives you a wide base to design alternate skins, although I imagine they would look odd if not at least similar to modern lizards.

I'm just commenting to say that I'd also be interested in baby and juvenile dinos even if they are separate models.

I'm also interested in the fantasy saddles, though I wouldn't mind if they're in a sci-fi/military style that compliments some of your other products.

They do have quite a few preserved skin impressions from many dinosaurs. From T. rex, to Carnotaurus, to Velociraptor. They can see the scale impressions so they know the size and patterns of them on certain areas. Same thing why the feather thing is growing is because of the feathered impressions left behind upon closer examination. Artists use to have a lot more freedom when it came to designing their 'version' of a dinosaur, but now you're likely to get heavily criticizied about anything and everything wrong with it. Our understanding of how dinosaurs probably would have looked has come a long way in the past decade but you have to go 'digging' to find these studies of fossils.

Ok, this makes it a lot more clear. I was thinking about doing something like this but even more dark for the Undead Giga, with a bunch of bones and skulls hanging from the reins and straps. Possibly with a prehitoric witch/necromancer to ride it. Just an idea and would make a pretty cool villian. For the next smaller and raptor size dino I will certainly give it a prehistoric barabian'ish saddle.

Gorgeous Giganotosaurus! I've been looking forward to it's release since you mentioned working on a giga a few years ago. I know animals don't sell as well as human characters and addons, so I really appreciate vendors such as yourself and AM creating these amazing models. Thank you.

P.S.: intrigued by "the next smaller and raptor size dino" you mentioned above...

Also, any chance for a Triceratops expansion? I'd love more textures and frill/ horn shapes (Torosaurus, Pentaceratops, Chasmosaurus, etc.) if possible...

Love your amazing work, but especially the dinos! Add me to the list hoping for texture expansions for the triceratops. More than that, would you consider doing some marine reptiles like plesiosaurs, elasmosaurs, tylosaurs, kronosaurs, etc.??

Off to wreak havoc with the new Gigantosaurus smiley
