Figure in blender won’t used assigned skin Mats

Hi All!
I have a Hans 8.1 figure, in daz I went ahead and changed the skin MAT and everything looks fine there as usual. But when I use the bridge, in blender the figure's skin just uses the Hans default skin. I cannot figure it out! I even tried "collecting textures" in the bridge export settings and nothing. I even experimented with an entirely different figure and same thing... any advice? I think I could download my desired skin materials and manually change it in the blender shader editor but it's very tricky and the Hans skin is set up a bit differently so it's not as simple as just changing the image files in the nodes. Thank you :)

As I understand it the daz bridge does not convert materials, but it provides you a basic shader that you can then tweak to your needs. So your modifications in daz studio may not be exported. If you need to export your material settings your best option is to go with diffeomorphic that provides material conversion, among other things.
Thank you Padone, yes I guess it just seems time to change to diffeomorphic which I've been avoiding just since the bridge is so convenient! But thank you for your input :)
But in diffeomorphic, there is no skin material either.
Before you explain, please keep in mind, that Blender is still super cryptic to me. Try to explain, like explaining it to a toddler.
Hi Masterstoke, nice to see you here.
Yes you're right there's no skin material in blender. Because the skin material in daz studio is not a material but a group for multiple different materials. So in blender you find the sigle materials same as daz studio, for example G8F will have torso, face lips etc.
You can edit the materials in the shader editor, that's a sort of bricks same as daz studio.
@brainmuffin If you mean the image I attached it's just to show the overall structure. The material will change depending on the figure and the selection and the material method. You can go to the shader editor with the top left menu in blender to check the materials on your scenes. Otherwise if you need more information on something feel free to ask I'll help for what I know.
