Importing an FBX file with the correct orientation

Hi,

I am currently trying to use DAZ Script to import an FBX file that originated in Unreal Editor. However, when I import it the mesh appears flipped on it's side (see attachment).

Is there any way when importing to use the script to make it automatically appear the right way up?

  • I don't think FBX usually has an axis option - it's defined by the "standard" - are there any options relating to orientation or axis system when exporting from Unreal?

    Not as far as I can tell, unfortunately.
